By using the Road Trip Weather Alert service ("Service"), you agree to the following terms.
The Service allows participants to share their GPS location so that they may receive SMS alerts when severe weather is detected near their reported position. Access is by invitation only; accounts are created and managed by the administrator.
By participating in this Service, you expressly consent to receive recurring automated SMS text messages from the Service for the purpose of weather alerts and system notifications. Message frequency varies. Standard message and data rates may apply.
To opt out of SMS messages at any time, reply STOP to any message. To request help, reply HELP. Opting out will stop all SMS messages from this Service.
Weather alert data is sourced from the National Weather Service (NWS). The Service makes no guarantees regarding the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of alerts. Do not rely solely on this Service for safety decisions.
The Service is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. The administrator is not liable for any damages arising from your use of or inability to use the Service, including missed or delayed weather alerts.
You agree not to misuse the Service, attempt to access other users' data, or submit false location information. The administrator may revoke access at any time.
These terms may be updated at any time. Continued use of the Service constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
